If you are having short holidays in Croatia , we offer you a quick course for a boat leader license (skipper). Regular course takes 2 weeks , but for tourists, we organize short course in only 3 days in collaboration with Croatian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Harbour Master's office. It takes place in Zaton or Zadar depending on number of students. We run the best maritime school in Croatia and 99% of our students are successful at exam. Our school got many awards through years. Boat licencing exam system is by international standards, so this license is valid in 90% countries of the World (down you can find the list in PDF). Although some countries don't allow their citizens to have an document of foreign state.

All the licences contain Radiophony (VHF) / Funk . If you fail on exam, we will refund you education costs (A and B category). We work in small groups up to 4 person, so everybody got a lot of individual teaching. Languages of education and exam: Croatian, English, German, Italian, Czech, Slovakian, Hungarian and Russian.

A and B courses are from monday till wednesday 2h per day. Days to book (in person) are friday,saturday and sunday.

A - category
Very limited certificate. It has only theoretic part (6h). Praxis on demand. You cann acess with age 15. License is valid for motor boats up to 7m and up to 15kW power engine. The licence is valid for driving up to 1-3 Nm from coast or island. Certificate of qualification for the boat leader, category A, has no time limit validity.

Price is 450 EURO, and covers: theoretic education, use of literature, exam costs and taxes.

B - category (boat leader, amateur skipper, jetski)
Most common use. It has only theoretic part (6h).. Praxis on demand. You cann acess with age 16. License is valid for motor boats up to 30 BT (brutto tons), so it doesn't depend on size or power (approximately up to 15-18m of leinght) and smaller sailing boats (approximately up to 12m ) for private use, also for jetski. 1 BT = 2,83m3 of boat's volume (closed space only is counted). The licence is valid for driving up to 6 Nm from coast or island, and maximum up to 12 persons in boat registration. Certificate of qualification for amateur skipper, category B, has no time limit validity.

Price is 500 EURO, and covers: theoretic education, use of literature, exam costs and taxes.

C - category (professional skipper, yacht leader)
You cann acess with age 18. Regular course takes 1 month , but for tourists, we organize short course in 1 week. It takes place in Zaton and Zadar. It has theoretic (up to 30h) and practice part (up to 8h). This course is available only for groups with minimum seven students. It is international licence with no border crossing limitations. Languages: Croatian, English, Slovakian. Certificate of qualification for professional skipper, category C, has 5 year time limit validity, after which you must go for Health capability test again, to renew your licence.
Also required before education:
1. To have "B" category licence
2. To do first-aid exam
3. To do Health capability test under Croatian national health control center

Possible accomodation/meal arrangment on extra charge.

Yachtmaster category A
For yachts up to 100BT. Must have C category minimum 3 years. Course takes 3 months.
